Repaired and saved £££
I've had my original controller since I bought my PS4 when they initially released, The battery had been on the blink for sometime meaning I had to have it continually plugged in via USB for power. Eventually it gave up the ghost and I didn't fancy forking out £40+ for a new controller, Simply replacing the battery worked a charm, and it was easy to do. Exactly like the original - depending on your PS4 model...
Original OEM battery pack - identical to the original. Fitted perfectly. Do read the product description carefully though - Sony appears to have made the battery connector type smaller for PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro console controllers, so the connector on this replacement battery is too big for the PCB socket on those controllers. Fortunately my soldering skills are on-point...

The replacement battery looks exactly like the old battery, and fits the controller perfectly. The controller is now recharging successfully, so is pretty much good as new.

Works well, replaced OG controller battery as it was barely lasting a day, and now lasting much longer.
Works as well as hoped. The battery is best treated as a replacement, not an upgrade, to your slowly dying charging battery in your PS4 controller. Battery life now somewhat better after replacement.
